Default 92 2.2L oil leak?

Recently changed the oil on our 92 Camry LE and now I have oil leaking from UNDER where the oil filter screws on. Thought the filter was defective so I changed it and it is still leaking. There are hoses running to where the filter goes on but they are dry. Is this a fixable problem?

When you took off the old filter did you make sure that the filter gasket came off with it? Sometimes the filter gasket will stick to the block and not the filter.

As it turns out, the car is equipped with an oil cooler, not sure if its a factory option (our 97 Camry doesnt have this but its the identical option), so I ended up taking the cooler off and the gasket that holdds it to the block is destroyed, so I have purchased an oil cooler gasket kit and will be putting it on wednesday, and I am hoping this fixes the problem. So you know, I did check to make sure the oil filter gasket didnt stick to the cooler itself, and it didnt, so as I said, I am pretty certain it is the cooler gasket . . .thank you for your reply . . . attached image is of the oil cooler removed from the engine . . .

the second pic is of the underside of the cooler, the side that attaches to the block, there should be a gasket in the grooves you see and it is gone, feel aprt when I took the cooler off the car, so as I said I bought a gasket kit and will be replacing it wednesday. The pics are for future reference in case anyone else has the same problem I have had. Removal was easy, take oil filter off, use a 30mm or 32mm (I dont exactly remember what size it was) socket to get the nut off then take the two hoses off and the 10mm retaining nut to remove the cooler.
