98 camry problem

98 camry problem
Bought a 98 toyota camry LE american edition with the 3.0 v6 problem is when it sits and idles it runs fine but when i put in gear it sputters and when i give gas it sputters worse and lacks power like its getting to much gas or not enough i know it sat for some time and when i took it to autozone to diagnose it it gave 4 codes IAT,Knock censor bank 1@2, MAF sensor as well it gives off a foul exaust smell can someone help narrow this down for me what can it be? send me a email plz fitzgeraldcecil85@yahoo.com

Given the number of codes, suggest obtaining service information such as Haynes manual and checking these items with an ohm/volt meter. The AutoZone website may also have some test data in their vehicle repair guide section.
Also check for damaged wiring.
