Question about the key

The manual says “Do not attach metallic or magnetic materials to the keys or place the keys close to such materials.”
I get the magnetic part, but what exactly does “do not attach metallic….materials to the keys” refer to?
Does it mean you should avoid keeping the Camry key on a key ring with other keys?

Metal as in its weight. A lot of metal keys can place a load on the ign cylinder lock which over time can cause excess wear and tear on the lock. This type of damage has happened thus the warning.
