Where did you come up with the term radio setting condenser relay?

Does the stereo have a CD or tape player and is the volume normal when using these?

What brand and model of stereo?

Please clarify.

The radio is stock.

The previous owner added what additional items? More speakers, additional amp, Etc.

The unit in the dash is wired to the amp in the trunk. Check wire connections at each location.

The amp in the trunk would have a part number.

If the amp is blown the sound level will be greatly reduced.

If wires are all over the place perhaps this is the problem.

Toyota had two types of radios. One had the amp built into the radio in the dash, the other had a remote amp controlled by the head unit in the dash. The remote amp may be under the passengers seat.

There may have been a CD player in the trunk.
