Default 2025 Camry Bumper Guards

Hi, new member.
I just bought a 2025 Camry HEV for my daughter. She lives in a big city where parking is a nightmare on a good day.
I live elsewhere with driveway parking so I know little about bumper guards and the protection they offer.
Anyhow, she knows a little something about bumper guards and says Bumper Bully should be okay but she's not sure.
I looked at what they offer and think either BumperBully Carbon or the Parking Armor 4.8 would be nice.

The Carbon protects more area but I wonder about scuffing.
For the front, BumperBully offers very little protection other than license plate frames.
That's fine if nobody hits you from an angle, but.....

Again, this is all new to me. All ideas and thoughts, including other brands discussion would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

Deciding that the guard will only be used while parked and not desiring any parts that may chafe the paint, we went with the ParkingArmor 4.8 for the rear end.
For the front end, there's nothing I found except beefed up license plate frames that absorb a little shock. For that we went with the Bumpshox XXL.

Looks pretty thick! I'm glad I don't live in some area that this is a reality!

Yeah, I hear ya. It's a temporary situation for her for a while. It is what it is.

Yup, I get it. I remember seeing a lot of crazy bumper guards down in Boston. They were usually some crude steel tube bent and welded on. Ugly as they were, the BMW drivers knew what was up.
If I had a new Camry and had to play bumper cars, then I would totally get one of these.

FYI, items arrived the other day. Looks like the one for the back end will be a good fit, it stays clear of the exhaust pipe and fits into the trunk pretty easily for storage. Haven't had time to mount the front one yet. Looks like good protection for when someone backs straight into you. If they're at an angle, not so much.

This is like being a 'Prepper" in the automotive sense! Scary!

A necessary evil in big cities where they park like canned sardines.
