Ive decided to buy 18" rims with 235 45 18 tires for my black 07 SE V6. Im having a tough time deciding whether to get:
1. Chrome or
2. Black rims with chrome lip

Any suggestions would be apreciated.

 

I'm also looking for Black rims with a Chrome Lip, the roads are really bad in my city I don’t wont to put bigger then 17". My Camry is the new 2007 2.4 its Black so I wont to equip it with some Black Rims for the summer what would you guys suggest, I don’t wont to Ruin the whole image of the car I was looking at some rims on this site www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com I searched for Any Brand 17" Black - I got plenty of wheels but I don’t know which ones to choose someone help, how wide could the front wheels be? e.g. 225 will fit at the front? Could I put 245 at the back and 225 at the front how will it look and is it fine to do so?

 

I hear you, picking rims is the hardest thing to do. I have just ordered chrome myself. WhatI did firstis figure out what style i like. Many brands have similar styles. So your looking for rims and tires? What I would do is go to your nearest tire and wheeldealer and tell them what you have and what you want and they will tell you what will fit. tirerack.com is a good place to start. I'm going from 17" to 18" and had to plus size 1 to get the diameter the same so that im not screwing up my speedometer. Im not lowering my car so i want to keep the distance from the wheel well to the tires the same. I hope i helped out a little

 

i have a se v6 i put 20 x 8.5 voxx misano on mine. it drives pretty well. i don't have any problems with mine

 

I have an SE V6 with 20" Boss Motorsports in Black Chrome and 235/35 tires. They fit fine and the ride isn't harsh. My offset is low on them, so it looks like I can still lower the car. Tein says they're working on coilovers for our car and to check back in about 4 months.

 

Sweet...looks like I picked the perfect car then to work on my exterior...hehehe

 

I also just ordered some rims for my 2007 Black Camry, I really wanted some 18 Panther Valera Rims, but was told that there is a 3-5 week wait time, the factory in California has none in stock and they would be on the next slow boat from China. Way too long to wait, so I ordered some 18 Boss 317 Chrome. Should be here on Monday. Tires were easy to pick out, I went with some Cooper Zeon xs2 245/45ZR/18. I hope they look alright. If you get a chance, check out those Panther Valera rims, they are awesome, whish I could have gootn those, oh well.

 

Yeah like those valera panthers, but yeah I think those boss 317 will look great. I just put on 18" chrome american racing casinos with 225 45 18 Nittos and I think they look good.

Those American Racing Casino rimes are nice to, I also looked at those while I was at the tire place. Before I bought my Camry, I had a 06 Cobalt and had the Boss 317 on it. After ordering the rims for my Camry I sent a pic to my buddy in Wisconsin and he said...damm dude, those look like the ones you had on the Cobalt, I look at the pics of the chevy and said...holy crap, your right. Hope they look good on the Toyota.
