2022 Camry, Call Disconnects on Pressing "Answer"
Posted on Reddit, also seeking advice here. 2022 Camry here with an odd issue--after pairing a phone, pressing the "answer call" button on the touchscreen immediately disconnects the call. The primary phone is an iPhone, but we've had the same issue with other phones as well while troubleshooting.
Searching, I've found a history of issues with Bluetooth in Toyota vehicles. But, I haven't come across this specific issue.
The dealer has attempted repair multiple times now without any remedy.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? This is extremely frustrating, as we depend on reliable calls while driving to stay in touch with clients. The work around is to press the answer button on the phone, but the small screen and buttons require taking eyes off the road and somewhat defeats the point of hands-free calling.
I suspect this is a software issue that an update could resolve, but we've unfortunately hit a dead end with the dealer... Any help greatly appreciated!
