Default dome light, radio and clock are not working

And who knows what else is not working. I bought a new bulb for dome light, but it didn't fix the problem, so I returned it. How do I find the fuse box and check those? I know there are some under my dash. I couldn't pull one out with my fingers. Do you think one fuse can be for all three going to dome light, radio and clock?

1996 Toyota Camry. 4-door, 4 cyl.

CIG/RADIO and DOME fuses power those items.

Do the cigarette lighter and radio work?

Sorry, I didn't get a notification to read your comment, Joey.
I solved this problem. I bought a diagnostic fuse kit from AutoZone. I found a fuse that was blown. It was under the hood. It was a 20-amp fuse. I happened to have an extra in my car. Replaced it, and all three components now work.

Problem now is my stereo antenna will not raise or lower, and I hear loud humming noise (from maybe a motor?) I have a feeling that is what caused my fuse to blow. Can I disconnect my antenna? I can't even go through a car wash. I physically cannot lower it all the way. But then the question is will the motor kick in when I turn on my radio? I can try WD-40 to get all the grime off the antenna. What do you think?

The antenna motor winds and unwinds a plastic string witch pulls and pushes the antenna to extend or retract it. The string may be extended out not allowing the antenna to retract. Access the antenna motor from inside the trunk then disconnect the wiring harness plug. The antenna motor turns off when the the antenna is fully extended or retracted.

YouTube has videos on how to remove the antenna and install a new string.

Thanks, Joey.

I did a search on Youtube for installing a new string, but I couldn't find one to do that. Would you mind giving me a link? I hope it's easy enough for me to do it, or at least a friend. I popped my trunk and there are some wires, but I didn't want to mess with it.
Thanks.

Something like this:

Amazon Amazon

The old cable rod broke off the antenna. The cable rod and antenna are connected thus need a new complete unit. Its a common problem.

YouTube should have videos on changing out the antenna and cable. Review videos first to see if up to speed on changing the cable/antenna.

Make no claims as the quality of the parts on Amazon or such.

Toyota apparently still sells the OEM part having antenna and rod for $70ish.

Part number 86337-06020

An Ebay seller claims they have OEM for half the price but who knows if real OEM. Might check it out.

I fixed my cable issue by buying a complete used OEM antenna/motor unit from an auto salvage yard. Thus it was an easy job! Try Ebay for antenna units and salvage yards/Craigslist for parts cars.

The OEM antenna motor hooks up to the cars wiring harness as in plug and play. The antenna has its own wire which is a cable coaxial cable TV wire and plugs into the antenna/motor assembly-easy job.

My opinion is if keeping the car to get an OEM antenna/cable. Or if cheaper a complete used OEM motor/antenna unit. I would NOT get an aftermarket complete motor/antenna unit it was a pain to hook it up to the OEM wiring! Don't know about aftermarket antenna/cable unit quality.

Its a very common failure.

I simply had a friend disconnect the cable inside of the trunk, and my stereo still works. And I don't hear the humming noise anymore. I don't need the power antenna. I still can tune into some stations. So case closed, but thanks for the tips. I never know whether to click "quick reply" or the green button to "reply". I did the quick reply, and it told me I didn't type enough characters. Maybe someone can help me out with that for future posts/replies. Nope had to use green reply button.
