Need a little help here. Is something supposed to raise the idle slighly when ac is on (or bring it back up to normal rpm). 2.0 liter automatic with bushbutton controls. I cant seem to find anything on the throttle body like a mechanical plunger. AC blows nice and cold for a 306,000 mile car, but two feet are required to drive around town.

 

I had a similar problem with my 91 Camry. There's a vacuum operated solenoid mounted on the firewall above the engine which controls the idle when you have the AC on. Turns out ours was bad - it took forever to figure out but our mechanic did it!
