I'm having to remove the distributor in order to replace the ignition coil, which mounts from the bottom and is real hard to get to. The two bolts are off, after I marked the location of the distributor, and I now cannot remove the distributor itself. What can I do to unlink the distributor from the shaft?

 

There are two bolts (on a metal plate , one is left and the other is underneath the distributor) for the distributor that need to be removed, after its removed you simply slide it out to the right , dont forget to buy a distributor o rings , and if you have oil in the lid you need to replace the internal seal (kbox.ca rebuild kit has one ,(this is not at the dealer))
