Default 2009 Camry LE to XLE Upgrades

Hey all, new member here. I have a 2009 Camry LE with the 4 cyl 2.4L 2AZ-FE and none of the premium options (dad bought the car, I inherited it).

I have developed a bit of a habit pulling parts from XLE trim Camrys from junkyards and putting them in my LE as a cheap little upgrade. Started when I needed to change the infamous sticky dashboard and I went and pulled one from a yard, and saw plenty of other things in higher trimmed Camrys (some from 2010 and 2011 models) I had never seen before.

So far I've done simple things like the wood accents, rear vents, auto-dimming mirror. Some additional things I've always wanted to do are:
1. Manual fabric --> electric leather seat swap
2. Non-jbl --> jbl swap (probably not worth it)
3. Plasmacluster swap (probably not worth it either)
3. VSS
4. Push start install

Now I realize none of this is simple - pretty much everything requires a wiring harness swap at the minimum. My questions for the more experienced folk here -
1. Will an interior wiring harness for an XLE with JBL+electric seats have everything a standard LE wiring harness will have, plus extra connectors for the premium features listed above?
2. What all is involved in swapping to the plasmacluster unit from the standard 3 dial climate control unit besides the wiring harness? I imagine beyond the mechanism that creates the hydrogen ions, the evap core, blender, or vents may have to be changed too?
3. What all is involved in the VSS system? This is the one I know least about. I've heard mention of the ABS unit being involved.
4. Will the push start system require a new security system as well, or will it wire into the (I think) RS3200 security system that came with the car?
5. Will any of these changes require reflashing of the ECU, or is it all independent of it?

I realize that this is overwhelmingly a lot and a majority of this work may be pointless, but I feel like I've recently discovered a whole new world and am excited to try out all this new stuff. I will be swapping out the dashboard again soon (found one in near perfect condition that's not sticky vs the only kind of sticky that I have in there now, and it was pretty much free) so a lot of stuff will be coming apart, and I would like to prepare ahead of time if necessary.

I request that if you answer, you don't just tell me its not worth it, but let me know exactly HOW MUCH work it will be (if its even possible) so that I can be the judge of whether I want to do it or not.

Suggest you start by doing an internet search for hits on each item you want to do. You are not the first to want to add an electric seat, audio system swap, plasmacluster and push start. No sure about VSS.Get the wiring diagrams for the 2009 Camry and compare what your current car has to what you want to do. Toyota has different wiring diagrams for stock stereo and JBL, VSS and non-VSS, push to start and key, etc. From here physically determine what your car has in terms of wiring and fuses terminals. Toyota may or may not have included the wiring and if wiring was installed the fuse boxes may not have the terminals for a fuse and there will be no control boxes, switches, etc.

Apparently the plasmacluster is for dual zone climate controls which means a complete replacement of the climate system plus controls. This requires taking out the dash board which takes many, many hours even if you know what you are doing.

The push start and VSS would require other components. This is not simplify a reflash. The components are build into the car as unit as opposed to be being just added on.

If you really want to do these things suggest you find a donor car. This being a car of the same year and engine/trans type, country of build that has the options you want. You can then swap item for item. Without a donor car you will be needing to gather every single item separately and there may be a lot of items plus remove said items, wiring, fuse boxes, control units, etc form the car that is being salvaged. Then remember where everything was removed to put the items into your car. You may need to take out the dash to run the donor wiring harness.

The stereo situation is more straight forward. Buy a decent stereo and speakers and install it in the same spot. The JBL most likely had a remote located amplifier which your car may not be wired for. If you want a decent stereo sound, add some noise insulation to the floor boards. The internet has lots of threads on this.

For your numbers

1) Adding an electric seat may be pretty easy as all you need is power. The seat should bolt up and the controls are on the seat. You will need to tap off the electrical system and here is where the wiring diagram comes into play,

2) A factory JBL system may have a remote amp. This means a different wiring harness. Suggest if wanting something better stick with a built-in amp stereo, get better speakers, etc.

3) Plasmacluster is more than just a cluster but a completely different climate control system. Replacing this system is a big job.

4) and 5) Don't know but would state basic research find it another big job!

If you are really intent on making changes start with more simple such as items 1 and 2 and do ONE item at time. Get everything you need prior to doing the job.

I would stay away from 3 to 5. I would sell the car and buy one with the items I wanted.
