ok so after installing a new battery, the car alarm went off..so disconnected it. car starts fine--runs fine but,,while in drive ..apply brake,,shift into park..and it dies..the noise it makes is the same noise you hear if you try to start your car while it is already running,,,it does this when you shift into any gear and then dies . So when I am driving when I park-it dies,,then start and reverse,,then put in drive--dies ? also it is not throwing any codes so i have no clue what is happening ..i did not re-connect the alarm could that be the problem? PLEASE ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS??? I AM DESPERATE!!!

 

If equipped with the engine immobilizer, do you see a security icon?

And yes I would re-connect the alarm.
