What type of ATF is needed for a 2016 Camry 4-banger?
My mechanic uses something called PureSYN universal fluid and says its the baddest stuff on earth.
According to Valvoline their MaxLife Multi-Vehicle (ATF) Full Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid also covers a wide variety of manufacturer's ATF.

Toyota World Standard (WS) is supposed to be the fluid. Branded as Toyota WS.
Many have used Max Life.
Otherwise Aisin ATF0WS. Assume its the same as Toyota WS as Aisin is part of Toyota. And Aisin group may even build the transmissions.
