Default AWD swap 96 Camry?

Just thought I'd ask about something I've been mulling over for awhile. Lemme know if I'm too far outta bounds here.

I have a 96 Camry LE, with the 3.0 in it. I was wanting to do some kind of rally inspired build with it, and thought AWD would be a great addition, if I could afford it. Recently, I discovered that the '99-'03 Lexus RX 300 had the exact same engine as my 96, and had a U140F transmission that gave it AWD. What's more, the RX 300 is the exact same wheelbase as a 96 Camry.

In theory, could you do an AWD swap for the Camry, using the RX as a donor car?

The AWD would need a chassis well for the driveshaft to the rear axles. Does a FWD Camry have this?

From the looks of it, yes. Sorry for the late reply.
