Default Brake fluid replacement (05 Camry): 1 odd question, 2 normal ones

Odd question: Can I split up a DIY brake fluid replacement over four sessions? Do one wheel one day, do the next one a few days later, etc.? I was thinking that the brake fluid doesn’t circulate, so it shouldn’t matter, right?

Normal question 1: It’s been eight years since the brake fluid has been changed, but it doesn’t look dark. I’m concerned that I won’t be able to tell by sight when I’ve gotten new fluid all the way through the line. Can I judge by the number of ounces that come out, or some other way?

Normal question 2: The last bleeding I did, a long time ago, was not on a car with ABS. Does having ABS on my 05 Camry make the fluid replace/bleed procedure different?

Should not matter.

1) Compare the color of the new fluid to old. Run the drain hose from the caliper into a clear container of new fluid. When the old fluid comes out you should notice a color difference between the new fluid and what is coming out. Then make your best guess as when the old stops coming out.

2) As long as you don’t run the master cylinder reservoir to low to allow air it, you should be OK with the standard bleeding procedure. Don’t let the reservoir run out of fluid and let air into the system.

Also don’t let air back into the caliber. Make sure you tighten the bleeder valve after each time you press the brake pedal to the floor and before you let it rise back up.
