Default Maint Sched - This Can't Be Right, Can It?

Hello. I just went through the whole maint. schedule on-line recommended by users here. For my '03 Camry, I went from beginning (6k miles) to the end (120k miles). My car has 111k miles. The only maint. it says is:

Oil and Filter
Air cond. filter
Change cooling fluid
Timing belt
Spark plugs at 120k miles
Rotate tires

I can't believe no fuel filter, trans fluid, or anything else. Does anyone knowwhat other things should be done?

Thanks

Suggest changing the trans fluid plus the diff fluid if it has a separate fluid chamber. This is a complete change as the trans pan oil holds only 1/3 of the fluid, the rest in the the torque converter. If using Dexron III or Toyota T-IV suggest changing the trans fluid at least every 50K miles.

If you are planning on keeping the car change the power steering and brake fluid.

You can do a drain and refill of the PS reservoir using a some kind of bottle pump dispensor, refill with new fluid. Do this 4-5 times with some driving in between and the fluid will be clean again.

The brake fluid can be flushed out by bleeding the brakes with clean fluid. If you have ABS should look up the bleeding proceedure first.

Dirty fluid accounts for a good portion of problems on any car.
