Default Driver side door wont unlock with key

I have a 1998 Camry le and I can unlock the door from the passenger side and from the control panel with the buttons, but if I try to unlock it from the driver side with the key it half unlocks then gets stuck.

The door lock gets stock or the key gets stuck?

Might remove the door panel and check for any binding of the door lock system mechanics. Then apply a lube safe for plastics such as silicone spray to all mechanical moving joints..
