Default First time water pump / timing belt R&R

Hello,
I'm looking for a good procedure on changing out the water pump and timing belt on my 93 Camry that's running a 3.0 3vz-f3.

Thanks for any help!!

The internet has many posts on changing the belt including some great information at http://www.v6mr.info.

Before taking the harmonic balancer off rotate the engine CW stopping at TDC on the No 1 cylinder compression stroke.

The balancer may be stuck use a bolt-on not jaw type puller.

With timing cover off make sure the timing pulley marks are still at TDC. You can then mark there location with a marking pin for easier reference.

You can also mark the belt and its reference to the pulley's before removing in case of future confusion plus take pictures of all items including tensioning pulleys.

When done make sure to rotate the engine CW two times and recheck all marks. If off remove and reinstall belt in correct position. Then rotate CW two times and check again.
