Default help with misfiring

last night i was leaving a friends house and all of a sudden the check engine light started flashing and my camry was misfiring all the way up hill, i didn't know what to do so i drove till i could find a spot to pull over, but before i could pull over the check engine light stopped flashing and the car stopped misfiring. i don't know if it could be the distributor and rotor or that the spark plugs need to be replaced, i am a little baffled. suggestions anyone?

V6 or 4 cylinder?

Attach a code reader as there may be trouble codes stored in the computer. Many auto parts stores will do this for free or loan out a reader.

I think it's the spark plugs seem to be malfunctioning...

mini VCI can help you clear it.
