I made this a while ago, it has a removable cover for my spare:

Default Trunk deck

Looks great, and functional too. Makes it look like a show car. My deck (original cardboard) got wet and is shot, might take me some time but I may try to make one like that. Really nice!

Impressed! Nice work!

I'm in the same "boat," and after just installing my donut in the rain, the trunk is more like a boat.

Any tips or suggestions on how I might be able to recreate your masterpiece?
Is this plywood (what type/thickness? single, or multiple joined pieces?) with hardwood flooring material (what type/kind? a single sheet, or engineered pieces?)?

Please advise.
