Default Oil plug drama- need help plz

hey guys i have an 01 camry v6 model and tried to change the oil the other day for the first time but when i was underneath i found that the screw for the sump doesnt accept a spanner its more of a large allen key combination, is there a special tool to unscrew it or do you need a huge allen key if so do you know the size of it...... any help would be great thanks guys

Most of these bits can be purchased at your local auto parts store for less than ten of whatever your standard unit of currency is- for something that will be used every few months (or should be), it would be a cheap, wise investment. Also, the guys at the shop can likely tell you exactly the size you need, and most will go have a look if they need to.

Be sure its the oil pan your looking at. The transmission pan has a allen key type plug. Oil plug is rather traditional 14mm i believe.

Yah, I suggest get an extra for that. maybe the problem is the plug itself.
