This is probably obvious, but I'll ask anyway. How do I temporarily deactivate the alarm system on my 2010 Camry? Periodically, I would like to disable it for a few hours (such as during fireworks displays, or if I'm likely to be in and out of the car many times in a short period). Currently, the alarm automatically activates after a a few minutes. What do I do?

 

I don't have much Camry experience. We jus bought a 2011. However, on my 08 tundra if you have the engine immobilizer ( flashing amber car light ) then you have the oem alarm. The only way to activate / deactivate that alarm is using a Toyota tech stream computer.

We hav that light on the Camry but I don't know about an eom alarm.
