New to this forum.
Does anyone have any volume potentiometers?
For model 16814.
Or the face plate that everything works.
The volume **** turns and is connected to the shaft but spins sometimes without changing the volume.

If the radio does use a POT, it might be possible to get it to work by cleaning it with solvent or electronics cleaner.

A Google search may turn up hits on cleaning POTS and what products to use. Depending on the construction, sometimes a small hole is drilled into the POT to spray in the cleaner.

Suggest not to use WD-40 but an electronics cleaner.

I believe they call the volume dial, volume potentiometers, a rotery encoder.
There is no way to drill or spray.
Very difficult to obtain parts for the 16814.
almost making you buy another faceplate or radio.
