Hi -

I have a 1999 Camry LE Factory Security System and I only have one remote for the keyless entry. I have two keys though and if I don't have the remote, but locked the car with the remote as soon as I unlock the door with the key it sets the alarm off. How do I deactivate the alarm once I set it off without the remote? Is the only way to turn it off with the remote? Any help would be greatly appreciated to this annoying problem.

The security system can be reprogrammed. Do an internet search on VIP RS3000 to find a manual. This is the system Toyota uses.
