2000 camry electrical problem
I have a 2000 camry le 2.2. I'm having an issue with battery draw. After running the car and shutting it off you can hear a little click and the battery draw spikes to 80.5ma then it will drop back down to 0.28. This cycles until the battery is dead. I csn get around this by pulling thr big 30a jcase fuse. With that out the noise stops and the battery is find the next day. From what I found the fuse controls the power windows the power seats and moon roof which I don't have. I checked all the wires in the wiring harness in the doors and under the seat and everything looks fine visually. Where to go from here?
Your battery draw issue in the 2000 Camry LE 2.2 seems related to the power windows, seats, or moonroof circuit. Since you don't have those features, focus on the wiring associated with these components. Inspect the fuse box, check for corroded contacts, and examine the wiring harness for any signs of damage or shorts. Consider using a multimeter to identify specific circuits drawing excessive current. Consulting a professional auto electrician or seeking advice on online forums can provide further insights. It might involve trial and error, but meticulous examination of related components should help pinpoint and resolve the issue causing the battery drain.
