2005 camry airbag frame rail sensor wires

Default 2005 camry airbag frame rail sensor wires

Hi Great forum my first post. Have a 2005 camry le 4 cyl my question is my friend installed a new front bumper cover for me and he pulled the two wires out of the drivers side frame rail sensor and i do not know where the wires should be installed i guess i have two choses since theres two wire ; does it matter which way there installed. Got a picture of the sensor in question from the web my wires are different colors than these.Any help would be great thanks GZ

What's the colors of the wires on the chassis?

For the sensor shown would assume the black/white wire is sensor negative. There is a sensor + and - connection at the airbag sensor assembly.

Hi my wires are one is green and the other white with a red stripe ;thanks for the reply gz

The only colors found that were close are white/red and brown.

Brown is the negative connection.

For reference on plug pin location, for the part shown in your photo brown/white is negative and black/white is positive.

Thanks toyomoho i think iam on the right track with your help. I found this picture of my connector is the hole on the left which has b3 and 1 on it the number 1 side? Again thank you!!!

Update : someone sent me this picture of the wiring diagram looks like you we right colors show White -red stripe + , brown - side.
Also check out my picture of the sensor inside pin is marked with number 1 does this mean the brown - wire goes here thanks again
