2007 3.5 crank but no start/EFI-3 Fuse no power
My daughter has a 2007 Camry with the 3.5L V6. She drove it to work on Friday and when she tried to come home it would crank but not start. I tried everything I could to diagnose it before towing it home. It cranks over fine, gas in the tank, tried starting fluid in the intake to test spark/fuel issue and checked all the fuses. I hooked it up to 2 different scanners to see if any codes were saved. Scanners could not communicate with ECU. Again checked all fuses both in the engine compartment and under the dash. The other issues I noticed is that the cooling fan comes on with key even though the engine is cold and the CEL does not illuminate at all. I finally broke down and took it to a mechanic. He was able to trace it to find there is no power to the EFI-3 fuse. He had a probe that he was able to apply 12V to that fuse. Result-cooling fan shut off, CEL came on, car started and ran perfectly. Mechanic was unable to determine cause even after contacting his friend who is a mechanic at the local Toyota dealership. After bringing the car back home, I have taken apart the fuse block in the engine compartment looking for broke/bad wiring, changed the integrated relay unit built into the fuse block, and removed and checked the fusible links which were fine. Any recommendations on where to look next would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Thanks
The EFI No 2 and No 3 fuses receive power from the same source, the EFI relay. The EFI relay receives power from the EFI MAIN fuse.
Determine if the EFI No 2 fuse has power. If yes and No 3 fuse has no power, there may be a problem in the wiring/circuit for No 3 fuse. If no, then check EFI relay and EFI fuse.

Thanks Joey for the reply. There is power to EFI 2. Everything I have found online shows that there is no EFI Main relay because it is built into the integrated relay module which I have replaced with no luck. All EFI fuses are checked and fine. I checked as much of the wiring as I could under the fuse sockets and they show no rubbing or burned spots. Would you know where the EFI main relay would be if it is not built into the integrated rely module?
Thanks

I have a 2008 Toyota Camry v6 3.5L that had a bad alternator but when replaced now it crank and it won’t start I have the same problem with the radiator fan coming on when keys are positioned in the ON but not when cranking it. You said it had to do something with the EFI fuses how would I fix it I checked every fuse but still no luck.
