94 Camry v6 suddenly stalled

Default 94 Camry v6 suddenly stalled

Approx 2 hours into a trip, my car decided to stop running and would not crank. I had it
towed to the shop. Mechanic told me he discovered the
ECM fuse was blown. Maybe he meant to say ECU, I don't know.
Anyway, he replaced the fuse, drove it around the block and it
Stalled again. Paraphrasing here... He said he checked some wires here
To make sure they were secure, etc. Cranked the car and it hasn't
Stalled again. He doesn't know what it was that seemingly corrected
The problem so he didn't charge me. I don't have any confidence
In the car at this point. Any ideas out there about what caused/causing
The fuse to blow? Thanks in advance.

The engine stopped running and would not crank over, you turn the ign key to start and nothing happens?

The mechanic implied it was due to wiring? Any other link between your actions and the engine quitting such as stepping on the brake, using the radio, using seat belt, etc?

ECM = ECU but Toyota does call the fuses ECU.

There is an ECU-IG and an ECU-B fuse, both 15 amps. However neither have anything to do with the engine starter motor.

Could the fuse have been called AM1, AM2, Main, Starter, etc.

It will turn over really well, but will not crank.

No other links to actions.

It's the 15 amp ecu-b fuse.

Could the fuse have been called AM1, AM2, Main, Starter, etc.
I have driven it quiet a bit with no issue. One thing I've noticed is the horn works now. Apparently some of the investigative work he did fixed it?

Horn fuse is power by battery. Between the battery and horn fuse is a fusible link called Main fusible link 2.0L. It typically is covered in plastic and installed in the battery cable gong to chassis power.

Although not for the Camry the link below provides info on fusible link locations.
