I recently installed a keyless entry, remote start, alarm system in my 93 Camry. When I sit in the car with the door open the unlock and lock feature works, but when the door is shut the keyless entry system will lock the doors but not open them???? I was told to splice into a blue/white wire on the passenger kick panel to use the unlock, I spliced into the blue/white wire at the driver kick panel is this the problem?

 

I think that the blue and white wire is attached to the plunger that sense's weather or not the door is shut for the dome light. Try holding in the plunger and see if you get the same results.

 

my car recently has the same problem. this morning it worked fine with the lock/unlock, but in the afternoon the door would not unlock when all doors are closed. did you find a solution to the problem?
