Default 95 Camry slow cranking

Hi everyone,

First time for me to post. I have a 95 Camry. This past Wedsnesday night when I was about to leave from work I started the car but I notice it was cranking pretty slow but it was able to turn over. When I parked the car inside my garage I notice that there was a burning smell after I put the gear in park. The next day Thursday in the afternoon the car started normal with no problems. The slow cranking happened again and the smell was there after I parked.
I do have the Optima Yellow Top battery with 2 subs,2 amps, and a cap. My stereo system/battery is 3 years old but I doubt it's the battery since I did smell something burning. I'll be taking the car to my mechanic and have him check it out. But in the mean time I would appreciate any solutions you might have.

Thanks,
jmp0126

Default RE: 95 Camry slow cranking

Could be a dragging starter motor, issue with the wiring to starter. The result being something got hot.
