I just purchased a 98 Automatic 4 Cly Camry for the kids. I noticed when driving last night that there were no lights on the Console Shifter to help in identifying which position the shifter was in P-R-N-D-2-1. There are corresponding lights on the Dash display, howeverbeing new to the Camry I don't want to start tearing the console apartto replace bulbs that I'm not even sure exist. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I just bought a 99 LE Auto and same thing. I wasn't sure so I asked a co-worker of mine who happens to have the same model and they don't have the lights there either. It's really annoying if you ask me! Let us know if you find out that there are lights there!!!
