Default Alternator plug wiring

Hello Y'all,

OK so I'm working on my Daughters 2003 Camry with the V-6. Her alternator burned out and I have to do some wire repairs. I have the main power wire repaired. However the three wire plug I got from Amazon has different colors. What is the order of the wires from the harness in relation to the plug. The three wires on the plug are black, green, red. This is going from the firewall to the radiator to give a physical reference to the order of the wires (when the plug is installed). The three wires from the harness are; yellow (ish), white and red with a blue strip. Just need to buy a clue to get the correct wires together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can only speculate. The alternator wiring lists terminals connections as terminal 1 being yellow/green, terminal 2 being red/blue and terminal 3 being white.

For Toyota, look head on at the male plug end having the wire terminals ends (not the end the wires coming out) and with the plug lock device oriented up. Toyota has the terminal numbers from left to right as 1,2,3. And the female plug end having the exposed terminals (not wires) with the lock up as L to R being 3, 2, 1.

So.

Looking head on at male plug socket terminals with plug lock up = 1,2,3

Looking head on at the female plug terminals with plug lock up = 3,2,1.

If this holds for the alternator socket don't know.
