Default a/c air flow control

i have a 1994 camry xle. recently the control buttons were pushed simultaneously (by another) in an attempt to turn the air on. now the air cannot be directed through the main center face register. it was working fine just minutes before. the control button lights are all still on but i can only direct the air to the defroster or the feet and not the center. can this be a fuse or something that can be reset or is it the servomotor.
what can i do short of tearing the dash apart.

Default RE: a/c air flow control

the problem could be anyone of the 3, control unit, wire harness, or motor.. testing involves disassebling the dash..
