My Dome light in my 91 is more picky than my wife. and here recently i has decided not to come on at all. I've checked the fuses and buld and they are both good the ground plate has got a good connection, and the wires going into the clip have power going to them. anybody have any idea what might be going on?

 

Have you looked at the switch on the body of the car as the door closes
It is covered by rubber. It might be sticking.
My 95 Camry has the same problem
