I replaced all the relays and fuses I replaced the switch when I opened the door and the lights come on they blink off and on fast when I closed the door they go off I start the car they will not turn on but if I open the door they come on and I can use both high and low beam any ideas for the new guy and it's a 1999 camry

 

Any aftermarket alarm system, remote start, etc installed?

 

No there was not

 

Does the car have auto headlights?

 

Yes it does but I unplugged the harness from the light switch and I only have power going to the blinker prong in the harness

 

Just replaced the integration relay switch behind the fuse box and now I can turn on the lights but when I start the car the lights won't work maybe wrong relay????

 

Do the lights flash at the same rate as the emergency flashers?

Does the car have running lights or an auto headlight dim function?

The integration relay is wired between the light switch on the steering column and the taillight and headlight relays. The taillight relay powers a lot of lights besides tail.

What lights blink? Head, tail, interior, glove box, running, etc?

The integration relay also ties into the electric door locks, sun roof and other items. Do all other electrical powered system work OK and with the driver's door open or closed?

The auto light turn off system uses the driver's side door switch as a signal input. The switch is wired to the integration relay. The relay is powered by the Dome and Gauge fuses.

 

The light flashing has stopped ...without the key in I can turn on the headlights but as soon as I put the key in the lights go out all lights dome head and tail lights
