Default KEYLESS ENTRY

Re my 1999 Camry LE, Keyless Entry and security should be come standard, right? Power wndw/doors are there. Somehow this question did not occur to me when I was making the purchase. I purchasedfrom a very reputable dealer "as is". How expensive is it to add this feature if the car does not already have it? Is it reasonable to expect to go back to the dealership, complain, and ask them to put in Keyless Entry security system, or isit a totally dumb question? HELP!!

97-99 had no security or keyless entry as a STANDARD feature. Keyless w/alarm- about $200-250 installed for a mediocre Viper or Clifford. Ones with LCD would be around- 400-450ish. Its not hard at all for them to tap into the pwr. lines to hook it up.

I would just get an aftermarket alarm instead ofa stock one from the dealership. As you will be paying for a better alarm going with aftermarket, rather than paying more money at a dealership for a stock one.
