i have a 96 camry lx and i was wondering if it came with keyless entry? i recieved 1 key,no chipped key and no fob, could i go to the wrecking yard and get the parts if the wiring is all there?what parts do i need? i would think with a lx badge it would have one. where would i look to see if they are there? there are lots of camry's at pull and save so parts should be easy to get. the car is a 96 camry lx sedan with a 2.2liter engine and i have gone almost 300 miles on a 1/2 tank of gas that's mostly highway driving as i live 40 miles from town.

Toyota offered a dealer installed system. RS3000.

You will need the computer plus wiring a few other parts. Search Ebay and Amazon for complete units having pictures to see what all you need.

One other issue is needing a FOB.
