I recently had a blown head gasket and had to to replace my engine in my 2007 Camry. I put everything back together as was when I took it apart, vehicle started up great on its initial first startup. Several startups afterwards the vehicle would hesitate and stall out. Then when attempting to turn over it would not fire over and lack of fuel seem to be the issue. I remove the back seat to gain access to the inspection cover for the fuel tank so that I could hear to see if the fuel pump was kicking on when the ignition was turned over and no pump sound Was Heard. I tested the fuel pump while it was in the tank by removing the harness and hooking a battery up to it to see if the pump would power up. Which it did. I then started to do research and try to figure out where fuel relays for that vehicle might be. I can't seem to find any good information about where some of these relays might be. I did see something on a forum about the fuse box that's in the front engine bay on the right side of the car. Apparently there is a slide out section of the fuse box that has a circuit board with 4 wiring harnesses that Connect into that. I'm curious on what that unit does, if that's all the relays in one area or if there's other relays that might be inside the car tucked in behind the dash

C/OPN relay switch powers the pump. The C/OPN relay switch gets power from the EFI relay switch.

The C/OPN relay solenoid gets power from the IGN fuse. The cars computer controls on/off power to the solenoid by grounding the negative terminal of the solenoid.

EFI relay switch gets power from the EFI main fuse. EFI solenoid gets power from the cars computer.

 

I've checked the fuel pressure from the fuel line after the pressure regulator and have plenty of pressure going in to my fuel rail. I've checked the ignition coils for each spark plug and have spark on all coils. I'm in the process of cleaning my injectors.

 

This contamination was in my fuel tank. You can see the separation in the right jug. Top layer is gas and bottom layer looks like vegetable oil or water.

 

I put in a new fuel pump and filter sleeve as well. I soaked my fuel injectors and 91% isopropyl alcohol, put them back in the car and try cranking it over and still the engine would not fire. If I'm getting proper fuel pressure and Spark, why is the engine not firing over? Is it my computer?

 

Are you now getting clean fuel at the fuel line disconnect in engine compartment?

You sure the injectors are now unplugged?

Make sure the crank/cam sensors are hooked up.
