1994 2.2 must be fed car no fith wire in dis cap. bought the car for my kid she drove it for ayear,now it won't start.pulled the plug wire no spark.distbrutor is turn so the timing belt works it was relaced 20k ago.by the dealer.where is the coil located I see theres an initer on the shock tower.any help would be nice .it a long drive up to college.Just trying to understand so when the tech tell her somthing i can question him Bill

 

The coil would be attached (built into) the distributor.

kind of a long story but here goes my son has an 89 XJ that I cant get to runno spark I/he bought another one for spare parts that ran he drove it in the garage and I took the spark plug that I was using to check for spark on the one that doesnt run and put it in the coil wire on the one that did run to make sure it was good and now the one that was running 2 min ago now has no spark and will not start and yes I tried a nother plug to make sure so now I am sitting her with my Yota rockcrawler outside in the cold and two non running jeeps in the garage any help would be appreicatedJim
