Default URGENT: 93 Camry

Hey Guys,

I own a 1993 Camry V6 XLE, recently I removed my battery for recharge, after connecting the battery again, my car does not start. The engine does not turn over. When I purchased the car couple years ago it came with an alarm, I am not sure if the alarm was factory or custom installed. There is a clicking sound when I turn the keys in the ignition switch. I am not sure if its the starter, distributor, or if there is a security alarm problem because I disconnected the battery. Does the alarm reset if you disconnect the batter? The switch for the alarm is broken, can I still turn off the alarm or is there another problem? If anyone has similiar problems, please reply ASAP or somone with any knowledge about this situation. I would greatly appreciate it.

PS - there is nothing wrong with the battery.

the clicking you hear is the starter. that sound is typically only heard when the battery doesnt have enough charge to power the spark plugs...but you claim the battery is good.

heres what i suggest, try jumping the car, if it does start then there really is something wrong with the battery...if not, it could be expensive to fix AFTER you are able to diagnose what is wrong. Electrical problems are not easy to diagnose either...
