Wiring a new radio

Default Wiring a new radio

Hey I need help I’m trying to wire in a new radio but I don’t know what wires go to what

Year of car?

Does the car stereo have a remote or built in amplifier?

it’s a 2000 Camry le and I’m not sure

Your photo has two harness plugs so assume the stereo has a built-in amp.

If you don't see the wiring diagram at installdr download the pdf file as noted in the directions at the site.

Toyota uses different wiring colors for 12V power and not the usual red colored wires.

Toyota also has a connection to activate the power antenna if the car has one.

Just buy an ISO adapter harness, cheap quick and easy fix, most auto shops will have what you need.
Best thing is, you keep everything original, handy if you sell the car and want to put the original stereo back in.
