Default 03 camry coolant question

Hello all

My coolant needs to be drained and replaced. I have some 50/50 general make/model coolant. The coolant currently in the reservoir is red.

Is it ok to use the general make/model coolant or should I buy the special Toyota red coolant?

Thank you for your time.

Toyota coolants are supposed to be silicate and borate free.

Suggest Prestone Extended Life or Zerex Asian Coolant (also long life coolant).

Suggest not using Dex-Cool.

Not all coolants are the same and don't know what coolant you have.

Try to flush out all the old coolant.
