Default 94 Camry-Won't start

To preface, I'm a 20 year old girl who knows very little about cars, but financially, I'm trying to fix as much as I can myself before taking it somewhere. That, and it won't start so I CAN take it.

It doesn't turn over, at all. I know it's not the battery, we've tested it. I also tapped the start solenoid, that didn't work. Any help?

If you have the means to test the battery, you have the means to test the starter. Check for battery voltage at the starter (the big cable). If its there, check for voltage at the small cable when the key is turned to the start position (you'll need an assistant). IF there is voltage when the key is turned to start- and YOU ARE CERTAIN the battery is good- then you have a bad started. Very common issue.

Late post but may help someone. If the starter doesn't turn with a good battery. Try moving the stick shift around. If park safety switch not engaged, it won't crank.
