'95 Camry won't start, pedal stuck
My girlfriend's '95 Camry behaved very oddly today.
When she went to start it the gass pedal was stuck firm, just wouldn't budge. When she tried to start it the CEL came on and the car wouldn't even turn over. She tried it again later in the day and it worked fine. Bizarre...
She's been complaining about a sticky throttle for a while so this weekend I'll lube it up and check it out but I'd really appreciate it if anyone had any other insights. I'll probably take a spin by the local auto parts place to get the codes checked as well.
I'm an engineer and have been working on cars for 8+ years so talk technical with me.
Thanks!

RE: '95 Camry won't start, pedal stuck
Did a tune up last weekend: leaned the throttle body, adjusted the throttle cable, replaced dist cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, and ran some Sea Foam through it. Car ran great all week but now this stupid car won't start or crank phenomena has happened to her again, for the second time. This time, waiting didn't cure the problem.

I agree with toyoboy! but my only thought is, all that stuff wouldnt effect the battery or alternator? unless you bumped one of the cables and put it back in place, and now its not! so it doesnt even crank? if it cranks, starts then dies, i would recomend the IAC valve. Take your alternator to a local parts store, thell test it for free. and have your battery tested as well!
