Default Brief Engine Cutoff

When warming up in cold weather, my 2001 Camry 2.2 engine briefly cuts off then immediately back on. When I first got it, it used to start up easy then kind of ease into a warm up. Now the engine runs real fast at cold starts, dies that brief cutout thing after about 60 seconds then proceeds to idle do an to 750 rpm when warm. Is my ecu going out?

Read up on the Intake Air Control (IAC) valve. This valve control idle speed. It might benefit from cleaning or could be defective.

Some suggestions,

+1 on IAC cleaning, make sure you get new IAC gasket(it will be brittle and break)
Check BVSV (can cause vacuum leak that has intermittent misfire) -> notoriously easy to break
Check your ignition switch contacts
Not sure if your make/model still has the cold start injector, could check that if you do
