CAMRY 2000 2.2L 4 cyclinders -Radiator Fans won't turn on
My radiator fan won't go on since I had a small collision at the front bumper and hood, radiator looks good no damages, I checked the fan relay it's working since I hear click noise when the key is turned to on position, Both radiator fans don't turn on and car seems to overheat and also the top hose from the radiator to the engine gets real hot but the bottom hose is cool and gauge temp reads normal temperature. What might be the problem or what should I do to find the problem. thanks for reading

There is a temp switch at the bottom of the radiator facing the engine. Unplug the switch and turn ign key on, the fans should turn on. If they do, the issue is the switch or the connection to it.
The fans should also turn on when the AC compressor cycles.
The fan system has 3 relays.
Don't let the temp gauge go into the red or your risk blowing a head gasket.
When overheating try running the heater at full heat at max blower speed.
Make sure the fans blades can rotate freely, the fuses for the fan system are OK, the wiring to the fans is good. You can test the fans by applying 12V to the wiring to the motor.

OK I noticed the temp gauge in the dash only raises and stays between cold and hot, I turn on the heater at max for 10 mins nothing happens but when I change the circulation of the air to blow to the windshield (defrost mode) then the fans turn on only when I do this any suggestions?
