Radiator Fans stay on when engine is off
Hello,
I have a 1990 Camry DX 4-cyl. Today I went out to the car and the battery was dead. When I went to lift the hood to jump the car, I noticed the fans were both running on the radiator. I successfully jumped the car and drove it home.
When I got home, I lifted the hood with the car still running and noticed the fans were both off. The temp gauge on the instrument panel showed normal, so this made sense. However, as soon as I turn off the ignition, the fans turn on ("high" it seems). Even if I remove the key, they stay on. The only way to get them to turn off is to either start the car, or disconnect the battery.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!
