Default cranks, not starting

I have a 95 camry 2.2L. It cranks over, but doesn't want to start. I checked and it is getting fuel. I took a spark plug out and left it on the wire to see if it was getting spark, and then it decided to start running on 3 cylinders. And the exposed spark plug was sparking just fine. Did this whole routine once before and it ran fine for a week or so before not wanting to start again. Any thoughts on what I should be looking at?

Anything differences in weather when it does not start such as cold, wet, etc?

Suggest checking over ign system. Wires, plugs, cap, rotor, coil. Plus check the signal coils inside the distributor for high resistance.

Maybe it is weather related. I remember you that is was raining the second time it did it. And it was fine for a while. Started raining again yesterday and again, won't start. Checking the stuff inside the distributor might be a lil advanced for me, but swapping out the whole distributor might be do-able.

Could be a bad ign coil, distributor pick up coil, moisture in the distributor cap, ign wires.
