Driving with p0301
My 2007 Camry just got code p0301 today, cylinder 1 misfire. CE light flashed for about 10 seconds when it came on but has been solid since. Hoping it’s spark plugs but I can’t get it looked at until next week. Do you think it’s okay to drive until then? No long distances or anything just basic day to day.

To add another question, I know that code could mean anything. I’m hoping plugs and wires... bust just in case, what’s the worse case scenario for repairs assuming I get it in there quick?
If the check light is flashing (not steady) it means the problem can cause damage to the emissions converter. The problem typically being a misfire causing a too rich mixture which will overheat the converter and damage it.
Don't drive when the check light is flashing.
Could also be a failing ign coil.

Light is solid and not flashing, so i guess that's okay...i'm going to take the car in on Saturday. I called the mechanic and they said they need to diagnose but he said its likely that its ignition coil...if that's the case what's a reasonable repair cost?
