Im sure this has been asked before and I apologize if this is a repeat. But Ive been browsing through here for awhile looking at options for modifiying my 1992 5sfe camry automatic. Ive researched about the 3sgte swap and am thinking about doing it instead of an engine rebuild. Im having issues finding clear answers on what transmission is the best to use and whats involved in the tranny install. Ive read that theirs no auto with the 3sgte just a 5 speed awd tranny. I have read that a 98 v6 camry 5 speed fits the 3sgte. What about cv axles and what not? Also, could the awd 3sgte tranny be used for fwd and never hook up the rear yoke (since the camry is fwd). Im just wanting some clear final answers to go with, from what ive read, the engine swap itself is somewhat easy its just the tranny issue i cant get clear. Let me know. leroy
